Priceless takes place in the 1970’s in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, moving on to Walking Stick Hollow, a fictional place in Kentucky. When Annie Grant, the daughter of a wealthy physician and his socialite wife, turned sixteen, her father forced her into marriage with a man she met only two days before the wedding.
