Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), called Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) by the World Health Organization, was detected as a novel betacoronavirus infection in Wuhan, China on December 12, 2019 before spreading globally. More and more publications are finding cardiovascular lesions that were not present on admission.The question posed is: 'Once recovered from COVID-19, what happens to patients cardiovascularly and what impact does the virus have on the cardiovascular system?'.
