Breast cancer is the most common cancer in women. Worldwide in 2018, the number of new cases of breast cancer was 2 million (11.6% of all cancers) with a breast cancer mortality rate of 627 thousand (6.6% of all cancer deaths)[1]. This mortality is higher in developing countries. In North Africa and in 2012, the incidence of breast cancer was 43.2 new cases per 100,000 women, with a mortality of 17.4 /100,000 Women [1].In Algeria, the incidence of breast cancer is clearly growing, it increased from 62.4 new cases per 100,000 women in 2008 to 88 new cases per 100,000 women in 2017[2].
