Choroba Parkinsona (PD) jest chorobą neurodegeneracyjną, która wykazuje objawy motoryczne i niemotoryczne. Wiadomo, że konwencjonalne leczenie nadal ma wiele ograniczeń, takich jak pojawienie się różnych długoterminowych działań niepożądanych. Biorąc pod uwagę nowe metody leczenia, kannabidiol (CBD) pojawia się jako możliwość farmakoterapii do PD. Celem tej pracy było zbadanie ewentualnej roli CBD w traktowaniu PD, poza oceną związanych z nią zagrożeń. Ponadto, aby przeanalizować konwencjonalną farmakologiczną terapię PD w celu stworzenia planu opieki farmaceutycznej. W tym celu przeprowadzono badanie bibliograficzne z wykorzystaniem baz danych Pubmed, Medline i Scielo. Dla każdego z nich wybrano konkretne deskryptory i artykuły z lat 2010-2020. Znaleziono łącznie 888 artykułów, ale po ich przeczytaniu wykluczono 844 artykuły, wybierając tym samym 44. Z tych 34 były z Pubmed, 4 z Scielo i 6 z Medline. Leki stosowane w konwencjonalnej farmakoterapii i CBD były analizowane zarówno pod kątem objawów motorycznych, jak i nieruchowych. Dodatkowo zaproponowaliśmy plan opieki nad pacjentem z PD.
