Pippie’s Warning: Or Mind Your Temper is a novel written by Catharine Crowe in 1848. The story revolves around a young girl named Pippie who has a fiery temper and often gets into trouble because of it. Pippie’s mother, who is concerned about her daughter’s behavior, sends her to live with her aunt in the countryside. While there, Pippie learns valuable life lessons from her aunt and the people she meets in the village. She learns to control her temper and develops a sense of empathy towards others. The novel is a moral tale that teaches children the importance of self-control and kindness towards others. It is a classic example of Victorian children’s literature and is still popular among young readers today. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
