L’histone désacétylase 2 (HDAC2) est un membre clé de la famille des histones désacétylases de classe I, qui joue un rôle essentiel dans la régulation épigénétique de l’expression des gènes. Cette enzyme modifie la structure de la chromatine en supprimant les groupes acétyles des résidus lysine des protéines histones, influençant ainsi la transcription des gènes. Bien que l’HDAC2 intervienne dans les processus cellulaires normaux, elle est souvent surexprimée dans divers types de cancer et joue un rôle important dans la croissance, la prolifération et la différenciation des cellules tumorales [1]. HDAC2 est donc considéré comme une cible thérapeutique prometteuse dans le traitement du cancer.Dans cette étude, les caractéristiques de liaison d’une nouvelle petite molécule ciblant l’enzyme HDAC2 ont été analysées en détail. En utilisant des approches computationnelles, des simulations de docking moléculaire et de dynamique moléculaire (MD) ont été menées pour étudier le comportement de liaison de la molécule au site actif de l’HDAC2. Les résultats du docking ont révélé que le composé se lie au site actif de l’enzyme avec une grande affinité, en formant des liaisons hydrogène et des interactions hydrophobes avec des résidus d’acides aminés critiques.
