Recently, research has focused on natural compounds anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant, and antibacterial activities as potential therapeutic agents. Citrus Maxima is a source of both industrial and medicinal products. It has a therapeutic effect, including anthelmintic, antipyretic, anti-inflammatory, cytotoxic, and wound-healing properties. Phytochemicals such as flavonoids, phenols, alkaloids, steroids, tannins, and glycosides are widely distributed. This study compared the anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and anticancer properties of Citrus Maxima (pomelo fruit) fruit pulp. The anti-inflammatory activity of pulp extract of Citrus Maxima was determined by Inhibition of albumin denaturation and membrane lysis assay. The disc diffusion method studied the antibacterial activity against Proteus mirabilis and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Our results suggested that Citrus Maxima pulp would be a source of components for the culinary and pharmaceutical industries.
