On the Margin of the Sky is the original true story of Dee Plecic. She used her experiences as a survivor 3.5 years of the siege of the Sarajevo to describe the traumas of the war and genocide called 'Ethnic cleansing' in Bosnia. At the beginning of the story, she explained the short history of Yugoslavia and sleeping volcano of Nationalism on the Balkan Peninsula. After president of Yugoslavia Tito died, a Serbian, Croatian and Muslim national leaders become the leaders of newly formed National parties. They used political propaganda, mass media propaganda and religious propaganda to produce conflict between mixed nationalities of Yugoslavia. That Nationalist propaganda with fake news over mass media was malting people’s brains, producing conflict and fear of new Nationalistic Apocalypse. The conflict started in April 1992 with Serbian aggression against Slovenia, Croatia and Bosnia as a part of six constituent republics of the former Yugoslavia. Supported by the Serbian authorities in Belgrade, the Serbian Army in Bosnia began a brutal campaign of terror in which acts of genocide took place to establish an ethnically pure state of Serbia.Sarajevo was surrounded with 2000 tube of Serbian heavy artillery located on the mountains around the beautiful Olympic city of Sarajevo. They have been shooting constantly siege on city killing citizens of Sarajevo. People and kids were killed on the streets, in the schools, hospitals, homes and the place to get the water and food. For wartime in Bosnia, the political and religious propaganda in Arabian countries were calling Arabian Mujahidin for a Holy war in Bosnia. Between 1992-1995 a hundreds of foreign fighters, mostly Arabs arrived to Bosnia to fight alongside their Muslim co-religionists against the Serbs.
