It is a question at this level of clarifying the ambiguity that is troubling the Kingdom of Jasmine concerning the configuration and role of the shoals that belong to them, in the delimitation of the maritime boundary that separates them from the Republic of Tulip in accordance with the provisions of Article 13 of the Montego Bay Convention of 1982. However, before doing so, it is necessary to specify that the Republic of Tulip excludes any possibility of the existence of an island under the terms of Article 121 of the Montego Bay Convention and assumes that if there is a qualification of the Haut Fond Découvrant, it can only be an island or a simple rock devoid of 'any habitation' and of 'any credible economic activity'. In addition, the Republic of Tulip confirms the legitimacy of its exploration activities taking place in its own maritime space within the limits of its EEZ based on the resolutions of the United Nations General Assembly on the right of the State to freely dispose of its natural resources.
