Um die Rolle oder den Einfluss der Medien beim Konsum von Nahrungsergänzungsmitteln zu stärken, haben wir die transversale deskriptive ethnobotanische Umfrage durchgeführt, die unter der Bevölkerung der Gemeinde Annaba (Algerien) durchgeführt wurde.Den Ergebnissen zufolge haben wir festgestellt, dass (76 %) der Befragten CA und Vitamine am gefragtesten sind, was darauf hinweist, dass die meisten Befragten es zur Verbesserung der Gesundheit (85 %), zu kosmetischen Zwecken und während körperlicher Aktivität verwendeten . Die Hälfte der Befragten konsumierte CA zur Vorbeugung und Bekämpfung von Anämie und die andere zur Linderung der Symptome einer funktionellen Kolopathie.
