This started out to just be a book about the Kirch family, but I found so much inter-marriage, that it is also the story of other families that lived in the Moselle region of France, and their continuing story after they emigrated to America. My mother, Marion Kirch Young and her cousin, Mary Jane Delmarsh both worked with genealogists if France to do research, and MaryJane and her daughter, Kate Dryfoos, worked extensively with Gerard Streiff. Turns out, he too is a relative. Come explore with us the intertwining lives of the Kirch, Streiff, Pillot, Bouckenheim, Haser, and other families that make up my family tree, and my Kirch Connection.
