Morus alba ist eine der nützlichsten und vielseitigsten Baumarten für ländliche Gebiete des Landes und wird weltweit häufig zur Aufzucht von Seidenraupen gepflanzt. Eine Forschungsstudie zur Beobachtung des Ausbreitungs- und Wachstumsverhaltens verschiedener Größen von Morus alba-Stecklingen, die durch das Abdecken mit Plastikfolie beeinflusst wurden, wurde im Versuchsgebiet, Abteilung für Forstwirtschaft, Bereichsmanagement und Wildtiere, Universität für Landwirtschaft, Faisalabad, im Jahr 2005 durchgeführt.
