The collective monograph examines the concept of transversality, which for a long time was used mainly in the exact sciences, and only over time has it acquired a general humanitarian significance. In the field of education, the theory of transversality/throughput borders on such educational concepts as interdisciplinarity, multidisciplinaryness, transdisciplinarity, as well as disciplinary integration/decompartmentalization (as opposed to compartmentalization - separation, separation).
