Esta obra presenta los principales elementos de la microeconomía, desde la visión matemática y geométrica, en tres grandes componentes: la teoría del consumidor, la teoría del productor y la teoría de los mercados. De la primera se deriva la demanda individual; de la segunda, la oferta de la empresa; y de la interacción de las dos fuerzas, en conjunto: consumidoresy productores, se da el mercado. La geometría es importante para la comprensión de la materia en la medida en que ayuda al estudiante a apoyar la teoría en un proceso de abstracción que fundamenta análisis posteriores en modelos de micro y macroeconomía. En el presente texto se desarrollan los ejercicios completos y se explican paso a paso.
