Manal Mahal and the Double Cookie Party is a children’s education book crafted to enhance basic arithmetic through poetic rhyme and imaginary adventure. As a Kindergarten student, Manal Mahal enjoyed her classroom environment, her learning centres, her friends, and her teacher Mr.Brad. Everything was more than she could imagine, until one day, Manal Mahal was not allowed to go to school. Due to the transition from in person schooling to virtual learning, Manal Mahal had to create a world where she could learn from home. Along the way, she meets exciting new characters, and engages in new adventures in order to work through her Math problems. Manal Mahal and the Double Couple Cookie Party is intended for parents, and educators who want to find authentic ways in building student inquiry when learning basic arithmetic skills while transitioning into virtual learning. The purpose of the book serves to sympathise with families and educators who are finding it hard to adapt to 'the new normal' while simultaneously creating Math goals flexible to all learning environments.
