La Terapia Racional Emotiva del Dr. Albert Ellis proporciona un bagaje teórico que permite analizar esta propuesta organizada de los trastornos emocionales, particularmente, la neurosis mediante el análisis de los presupuestos de la lógica, y de la distorsión del pensamiento irracional en oposición al pensamiento racional y lógico de esta teoría de la Psicología Clínica.
