Studiare l’autismo a partire da un paradigma che riunisce ciò che è stato separato dalla scienza ci permette di pensare a pratiche senza prerequisiti, ad azioni in cui il bambino autistico è visto prima di tutto come un soggetto, come un bambino, con potenzialità di apprendimento, desideri e bisogni. Il focus di questa ricerca è stata l’ontoepistemogenesi di tre bambini autistici, innescata dall’uso di tecnologie tattili in ambienti difficili. L’ontoepistemogenesi è il processo di complessificazione di un soggetto che, accoppiandosi con l’ambiente, si trasforma in modo integrale con ripercussioni su tutte le dimensioni del suo essere. Basandoci teoricamente sui presupposti del paradigma della complessità, sulla teoria della Biologia della Cognizione di Maturana e Varela e sul principio dell’apprendimento attraverso il rumore di Henri Atlan, abbiamo cercato di comprendere il processo di cognizione/soggettivazione di questi soggetti. L’approccio all’autismo in questa ricerca si è basato sugli studi delle neuroscienze sulla neuroplasticità. L’ambiente stimolante proposto emerge attraverso l’uso di giochi su iPad, nonché negli interventi e negli approcci effettuati mentre i bambini interagiscono con le attrezzature e l’ambiente.
