A litíase de ácido úrico é uma condição frequente e frequentemente recorrente que afecta principalmente os machos adultos jovens. A análise espectrofotométrica dos cálculos expelidos fornece informações que podem contribuir eficazmente para a compreensão dos mecanismos envolvidos na sua formação, permitindo a prevenção secundária.Os objectivos deste trabalho eram estudar as particularidades epidemiológicas da litíase urinária de ácido úrico na região de Sfax e determinar a morfologia e composição destas pedras através de análise morfoconstitucional.Este é um estudo descritivo retrospectivo monocêntrico de casos de litíase de ácido urinário identificados pelo estudo morfo-constitucional, recolhidos no laboratório de bioquímica clínica do Centro Hospitalar Universitário Habib Bourguiba (CHU) de Sfax, Tunísia, durante o período de Janeiro de 2011 a Dezembro de 2019.
