Our oldest son ruptured his eardrum in a skiing accident off the Ohio River in June of 1988. The surgeon said it was the worst rupture he’d seen and put him on antibiotics as it was severely infected from the river water. He said he would have to have surgery and that he would probably lose 50% to 80% of his hearing in that ear. Our son (who was 18) said, 'No! I’m not having surgery! My mother will pray for me!' The doctor smiled and said, 'We’ll see.' Two weeks later as the doctor re-examined his ear in preparation for surgery, he said, 'Mother, come here. I want you to see this!' I looked through the medical device and saw a beautiful, pearly pink ear drum -completely brand new. No scarring, no surgery, and no hearing loss! We serve a miraculous God, and He has a legacy for you. In Genesis 1:26 - He said, 'Let us make man in our image.'
