Vor dem Hintergrund, dass heute der Klimawandel unmissverständlich ist, stellt sich die Frage nach ihren Ursprüngen und den Auswirkungen auf die Bevölkerung und ihre Aktivitäten. In Benin, im Gebiet der 2KP, rechtfertigt die starke Abhängigkeit der Mehrheit der Bevölkerung von den klimabedingten landwirtschaftlichen und pastoralen Aktivitäten die Aufmerksamkeit der Forscher, um die Anfälligkeit der ländlichen Bevölkerung zu verstehen und Programme zu entwickeln, um diese zu verringern. Ziel dieser Forschungsarbeit ist es, die landwirtschaftlichen Produktionspraktiken angesichts der klimatischen Unwägbarkeiten zu kartografieren. Es wird eine Stichprobe von 130 Betrieben in den drei Gemeinden untersucht. Die landwirtschaftlichen Aktivitäten sind durch hohe Sonneneinstrahlung, Hitzewellen, schlechte Regenverteilung, erhöhte Niederschlagsmengen und Schädlingsbefall bedroht, die biophysikalische und sozioökonomische Auswirkungen auf die Aktivitäten haben. Die Landwirte haben verschiedene Methoden entwickelt, um sich an diese Risiken anzupassen: Einführung neuer Kulturen, Änderung des technischen Ablaufs, Installation von Windschutzanlagen...
