El Gran Cataclismo es la narración de la historia de los antepasados de los primeros jeroglíficos de Pêr-Ahâ (que se convirtió en faraón en la fonética griega) que significan "Descendientes del Anciano".     Ahâ podría decirse en la fonética francesa "Adán", y de hecho, los Anales Cronológicos grabados en las paredes de los primeros templos del Alto Egipto, o pintados en los rollos de cuero de las diversas salas de los archivos de las "Casas de la Vida", cuentan la vida de un pueblo a partir de este "Anciano": el Ahâ.     Su continente se llamaba Ahâ-Men-Ptah (que se convirtió en la Atlántida por la gracia de Platón), y cuya traducción es "Dios-y-hijo-anciano".   Es toda la historia del monoteísmo de este continente de Ahâ-Men-Ptah la que detalla El Gran Cataclismo, porque en varios milenios, el pueblo "Descendiente de los Ancianos" perdió de vista su origen y se tomó a sí mismo por Dios. Esto terminó con el hundimiento del continente edénico después de un terrible trastorno geológico hace 12.000 años, y sobre el cual no hay escasez de cuentas. Los supervivientes se encargaron de infundirle miedo.
