Knowing Allah, Your Sole Reason for Being

What you have just heard, translate it, so that whoever comes from now on clearly understands that this path we are walking has very solid foundations. It is not folkloric raving, nor entertainment, such that you can come and tell me that this comes from Buddhism and that it comes from goodness knows what.None of this is my own saying, so spare me your hatred, and your love as well for that matter. These are the words of your Messenger ﷺ and mine, and they are the words of your Lord and mine!As for me, I am nothing but a minuscule particle upon that mosquito’s wing. Through these words, may everyone know why they took the pact (bay’a).'I just want to see the light of Allah...' But that is not the Goal!The Goal is: 'I want to know Allah!' Seeing the light of Allah is the means, not the end!The catastrophe and the humiliation is if you see the light of Allah... but you miss out on the knowledge (ma’rifa) of Allah!
