There are over 100 exercises in this drawing and coloring activity book for children. All of them are entirely doable. Drawing is a universal communication tool that all kids should use. When words fail them, drawing will help kids better express opinions, feelings and emotions. The purpose of this drawing book is to help kids become used to the process of drawing lines, forms, and shapes to create visual representations of the world. This activity book is filled with step-by-step instructions on how to draw insects and other animals. They range from easy to intermediate. The varying levels of difficulty are meant to ensure engagement by keeping away boredom. After all, kids love a right amount of challenge because success in these types of activities can be reasons to brag. Once done recreating the images, kids are encouraged to bring their art to life through coloring. Speaking of coloring, we’ve included coloring exercises in the pages of this activity book as well. These exercises are still animal-themed, and labels are included for easy identification. The pages are 8.5 X 8.5-inches so they’d comfortably fit inside compartments for safekeeping, and bags for transport. Although recommended for second graders, anyone can complete this activity book, as long as they’re interested in learning while having fun.
