Wyniki sugerują potrzebę wdrożenia regularnych programów szkoleniowych dla pracowników służb ratownictwa medycznego i podstawowej opieki zdrowotnej. Również brak wsparcia psychologicznego po katastrofie wskazuje na potrzebę stworzenia krajowych i regionalnych planów dostosowanych do nowych realiów w celu poprawy organizacji/koordynacji środków i interwencji.
