This book has a variety of related topics centered around the idea that Israel has an exclusive covenantal relationship with the creator of the universe.Beginning with 'The Eternal Covenant,' I stressed the covenant of circumcision. The nation of Israel began with the relationship between Yehovah and Abraham, established through a series of covenants sealing that relationship. The promised child born to Abraham and Sarah was Isaac, the first son born under the covenant of circumcision, conceived after Abraham was circumcised at the age of 99. The Israelite people, through succession of circumcised males, are the progenitors of that covenant of circumcision, which is everlasting, ETERNAL!This is expressed in Genesis 17.'And I will establish My covenant between Me and thee and they seed after thee throughout their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee and to thy seed after thee.' [Genesis 17:7 The Pill Tanakh]In 'The Cohen Gadol,' I stressed that in spite of having a foundation of laws, statutes and ordinances, the nation of Israel never operated fully under the exclusive authority of the office of the High Priest. In that chapter, I provide a list of all known Jewish High Priests! I conclude with a discussion of current efforts in Israel to bring about the rebuilding of the Temple and that a nascent Sanhedrin has already chosen a candidate to perform the duties ot the High Priest. The third chapter, 'Abrahamic Religion,' discusses the three Abrahamic religions: Judaism, Christianity and Islam, ending up stating that neither Jesus nor Allah is the same God as Yehovah, the Elohim (God) of Israel! I conclude with statements about the seventh-day Sabbath: 'Keeping the seventh-day Sabbath is the acknowledgement and recognition that Yehovah is the One True God, and there is no other. Recognizing any other day than the seventh day as the Sabbath should be considered to be an expression of worshipping a different God!'Ancient prophecy is discussed in two chapters. Jewish, Christian and Islamic views are discussed for some of the better known ancient prophecies. In 'Judges, Kings, Prophets,' I provide individual tables for Judges, Kings and Prophets showing dates and times of their authority in ancient Israel. For Kings, I have provided a column, BCE, which is a best guess of the year of the start of a reign. It is my hope that showing these tables gives a perspective of times with Scriptural references which will help bring a better understanding of leadership in ancient Israel along with its High Priests, the list of which was provided in an earlier chapter. The ordered chapter titles are 'The Eternal Covenant,' 'The Cohen Gadol,' 'Abrahamic Religion,' Ancient Prophecy,' 'Head Of God,' 'Judges, Kings, Prophets,' 'Seek Yehovah,' 'The Kingdom Of Heaven,' 'The End Of The Matter,' and 'Epilogue.'In the Epilogue, I end with Deuteronomy 10:12-14:'And now, Israel what doth Yehovah thy God require of thee, but to fear Yehovah thy God, to walk in His ways, and to love Him, and to serve Yehovah thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul; to keep the commandments of Yehovah, and His statutes, which I command thee this day, for thy good? Behold, unto Yehovah thy God belongeth the heaven, and the heaven of heavens, the earth, with all that therein is.'
