Cuando se dice que una persona es creativa y no se indica en que campo se la está considerando que lo es, se suele dar por hecho de que nos estamos referimos tan solo al ámbito artístico,ya que popularmente se suele asociar a la creatividad con el arte.Básicamente, en este libro cuya primera versión fue escrita en 1993 se quiso evidenciar que, lejos de ser solo una inspiración a alcance de unos pocos, la creatividad es más bien una actitud o filosofía de vida que todos podríamos adoptar de forma cotidiana.Ya existían por aquellos años ciertas exposiciones teóricas escritas por profesionales, pero considero que este fue el primer libro orientado a «metodizar» la creatividad como si de una actividad situada medio camino entre deporte, arte y ciencia se tratara.Dado que se supone que el dominio de esta apasionante actividad se perfecciona con la práctica al igual que ocurre con cualquier otra, aquí se describen algunos ejemplos a modo de breve panorámica del potencial que la creatividad puede ofrecer.
