Es gelangte in den letzten Jahren in der internationalen Diskussion immer stärker in den Vordergrund (Overwien 2002). Gerade im Rahmen des Wandels gesellschaftlicher Bildungsstrukturen und dem Bedarf des lebensbegleitenden Lernens bzw. lebenslangen Lernens wird die Diskussion um das Konzept des informellen Lernens immer lauter (Forum Bildung 2002; Müller 2005). In der Arbeit wird das Konzept des informellen Lernens auf die Relevanz für die berufliche Bildung bzw. Berufspädagogik und speziell für die Berufspädagogik Pflege geprüft.
