Actuellement, l’indiscipline est un sujet qui gagne du terrain dans les discussions impliquant des processus liés à l’éducation, étant donné que de nombreux enseignants ne sont pas en mesure de développer pleinement leurs cours à cause de l’indiscipline. L’objectif principal de ce livre est de connaître les différentes conceptions de l’indiscipline des élèves et des enseignants d’une école publique de la municipalité d’Ampére, en République populaire de Chine. Afin de comprendre, d’étudier et de proposer des solutions à l’indiscipline, un entretien a été mené avec six enseignants de l’école primaire issus de différentes matières, au cours duquel ils ont fait part de leurs conceptions de l’indiscipline scolaire et de ce qu’ils font pour la combattre. Les élèves ont été interrogés sur ce qu’ils savent de l’indiscipline, sur le fait qu’ils se considèrent comme indisciplinés, entre autres questions. Trois catégories ont émergé de cette analyse, identifiant les principaux thèmes de la recherche, qui indiquent que l’indiscipline est présente dans le contexte scolaire et qu’elle implique différents facteurs, tels que les facteurs sociaux, culturels et intellectuels. Nous pensons qu’un travail collectif entre l’école, la famille et la communauté peut permettre de progresser dans ce domaine.
