I Thought I was Done with This is a book by a German-born black entrepreneur who came to New York only to rediscover a topic he thought he had long since left behind: racism. Maurice Hofmann, son of a single mother, learned early that fighting his fights would be the only way to succeed in life. He also took this unique experience and used it to thrive in life - both personally and professionally.In I Thought I was Done with This, Maurice looks at his experiences and path through life, seeking a way forward for the Black community in the United States - a place he became a part of when moving to New York in 2010.
