I, Robert’s Robot and Other Stories is a collection of riveting short stories that is a potpourri of well-crafted stories, some literary, some speculative. In the titular story, a scientist named Robert constructs an android to assist him at home. But to his chagrin and utter disbelief, the robot develops human qualities, seeks revenge and kills his girlfriend. In another story titled 'Princess Always', two Nigerian undergraduates travel to Hollywood to voice a cartoon character but end up being accused of being masterminds of the September 2001 bombing in America. This is a book that lingers in the memory long after it’s dropped. It’s a book that keeps giving.
