The first volume of the 'History of the Second World War' covers the period from the end of the First World War to the autumn of 1935. The second part of the volume reveals the world-historical significance of the construction of socialism in the USSR, the development of its Armed Forces, the intense struggle of the peace-loving peoples, led by the Soviet Union, against the danger of a new world war.
