O presente livro intitulado 'Herpetofauna Moçambicana - Arte e Obra da Biodiversidade', surge na sequência de ter participado no Seminário Avançado de Gorongosa no acampamento de Chitengo no Parque Nacional de Gorongosa, organizado pelo Laboratório de Biodiversidade Edward O. Wilson, realizado entre 13 e 18 de Novembro de 2017, liderado pelo herpetólogo Alemão Dr. Mark Oliver-Rodel. No livro foram sistematizados 75 espécies de anfíbios e 197 espécies de répteis, agrupados nas suas famílias e género. O livro apresenta nomes científicos com fotografias de quase todos os anfíbios e repteis sistematizados, figuras ilustrativas e tabelas. O livro apresenta 5 capítulos e um anexo de glossário de herpetologia, nomeadamente, introdução a herpetologia; anatomia e fisiologia dos anfíbios; biodiversidade dos anfíbios moçambicanos; anatomia e fisiologia dos répteis; e biodiversidade dos répteis moçambicanos.
