Heroes or Villains? is the true story of the Holocaust in France that started when France surrendered to the Germans and Marshal Henri Philippe Pétain arrived to form, under the German watch, a petty French dictatorship—the Vichy government—with these Vichy villains intent on assisting the short-handed Germans (who lacked the manpower to round up the Jews because Hitler’s troops had been thrown into the war on the Soviet front) by using French police to round up the Jews in France and turn them over to the Nazi murderers.
