Originally published in 1902, This book is the outcome of a Paper read before the Blackheath Natural History Society in 1901. The publication was, however, delayed by the discovery of Roman Remains in the Park, a complete account of which it was considered desirable to include in the work. This early works is a fascinating insight into the history of Greenwich Park and will appeal greatly to any historian. Many of the earliest books, particularly those dating back to the 1900’s and before, are now extremely scarce and increasingly expensive. We are republishing these classic works in affordable, high quality, modern editions, using the original text and artwork.
