Other notable tunnels featured here include Massachusetts’ notoriously expensive and slow-progressing Hoosac Tunnel; Colorado’s rail and water Moffat Tunnel; Montana’s Flathead Tunnel; and several major tunnels along the Canadian Pacific’s main line.
