Author Tom Dirsa grew up on the tip of Cape Cod in Massachusetts. After graduating from university, he moved to Alberta, Canada for two years, which became a lifetime. After a 38 year career as an educator Tom began a second career as an author. He has author several children books about a child with ADHD. He began to write his autobiography in three parts. The first was called From Cape Cod to Canada:The Journey of a Basketball Coach. This is the second in the series and follows Tom through his career as a teacher and school administrator as he and his family moved to and from New England and Western Canada. Tom attempts to show why the Canadian education system has been more successful than the United States system when compared to the rest of the world.
