L’uso delle figure geometriche piane con i bambini con sindrome di Down presso l’APAE/Aracaju ci porta a riflettere sulle metodologie per insegnarle meglio. Questa ricerca si propone di indagare metodologie specifiche per una migliore assimilazione delle figure geometriche piane da parte degli studenti con sindrome di Down. Si propone di verificare con gli insegnanti dell’APAE/Aracaju le difficoltà presentate dagli studenti rispetto alle figure geometriche piane, di osservare e analizzare la capacità professionale, insieme alla formazione per l’esecuzione delle figure geometriche piane e di proporre un metodo più efficace in relazione alla capacità di comprensione di questi individui. Questo progetto ha anche delle ipotesi, come: c’è una difficoltà nell’apprendimento, che stimola la ricerca di un mezzo per facilitare il processo di apprendimento delle figure geometriche piane, inoltre c’è una mancanza di formazione professionale unita a una scarsa remunerazione dei professionisti del settore, che causa un insegnamento carente e, c’è un pregiudizio nei confronti della disabilità da parte dei portatori, che ostacola la relazione educatore x discente e l’insegnamento/apprendimento.
