Belinda Borrelli
At just 25 years old, Belinda Borrelli was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma-her first serious health crisis, but far from her last. In the years that followed, she would face multiple cancer diagnoses and serious heart complications. Yet through every setback, she found strength she didn’t know she had. With relentless determination, the support of her close-knit family, and outstanding medical care, Belinda fought back-not just to survive, but to live with purpose. Her memoir is a powerful testament to resilience, showing how mindset, grit, and compassion can carry us through even the darkest times. She embraced what she could control: staying positive, staying active, and staying kind. Whether trekking across the globe or caring for her aging mother, Belinda’s story is about living fully, loving fiercely, and never losing sight of joy.A retired teacher from Windsor, Ontario, Belinda is also a former athlete, lifelong volunteer, and devoted advocate for cancer and heart health causes. She holds degrees from the University of Windsor and further credentials from Western and the University of Toronto. Today, she continues to inspire with a vibrant lifestyle rooted in yoga, travel, and deep family connections. This is her journey-honest, courageous, and deeply human.
