Les incendies et explosions liés aux stockages et traitement des hydrocarbures sont provoqués par des fuites non contrôlées de liquides et de gazes, d’une part, et la défaillance des barrières de sécurité associées, d’autre part. Ces accidents peuvent être fortement réduits en installant des barrières de sécurité fiables et efficaces. Dans le cadre de ce travail doctoral, nous avons tenté de surmonter les incertitudes liés à la subjectivité des experts dans l’estimation des probabilités de défaillances des barrières de sécurité et dans la priorisation des actions correctives visant leur amélioration. Une méthodologie de recherche est proposée à cet effet.
