La présente étude a pour objectif général d’évaluer la résistance à la fusariose et la tolérance au stress hydrique de quelques génotypes du palmier à huile (Elaeis guineensis ). Six populations d’hybrides de palmier à huile sous forme de graines pre-germées constituent le matériel végétal utilisé : A114 (G1), A230 (G2), A120 (G3), A146 (G4), A263 (G5) A229 (G6). Le dispositif expérimental comprend au total cinq Blocs randomisés. Chaque bloc est constitué de quatre parcelles élémentaires où les six (06) génotypes retenus sont représentés par cinq (05) pots chacun. L’essai étant factoriel (Arrosé-Fusarié ; Arrosé-Non fusarié ; Non Arrosé Fusarié et Non Arrosé Non Fusarié) comprend six cents (600) pots. Les données sont prélevées sur cinq semaines. Il s’agit à chaque prélèvement hebdomadaire de relever deux types de données : -Qualitatives : qui consistent en l’observation des plants à régimes Stressé qui présentent des symptômes caractéristiques de la fusariose. -Quantitatives : qui consistent à dénombrer les feuilles, les racines et aussi à mesurer la longueur des feuilles, des racines et le diamètre des bulbes.
