Différentes techniques de dépollution des émissions gazeuses existent, parmi lesquelles l’absorption par des solutions d’alcanolamines qui a été retenue dans le présent travail, sous l’aspect de la modélisation. La théorie du double film a été prise en considération pour quantifier ce transfert par le biais des lois de Fick et de Maxwell-Stefan. Néanmoins pour la modélisation de la colonne et la simulation du contacteur, deux modèles, l’un d’équilibre et l’autre de non équilibre, ont été adoptés. Le modèle général est une sorte de combinaison de différents modèles tels que le modèle cinétique qui permet de quantifier le terme de source dans l’équation de continuité, le modèle de transfert qui donne la relation entre les concentrations et les flux de matière, finalement le modèle thermodynamique qui permet de résoudre le problème de la physico-chimie. Il peut être conclu, à partir des résultats obtenus, que chacun des deux modèles de colonne, présente certains avantages. Le premier, le modèle de non équilibre, est plus général et permet l’incorporation des différents potentiels à la fois, avec toutefois un inconvénient sa complexité.
