Rhinosinusitis is described as the inflammation of the paranasal sinuses and nasal cavity. It holds immense importance and practical interest due to the scientific complexity of the unresolved pathogenetic complications associated with the disease and their implications on clinical treatment. This book sheds light on some particular topics that are generally not elucidated in literature on rhinosinusitis. It provides an insight into the miserable quality of life experienced by the patients suffering from this disease. Emphasis has also been laid on the microbiological aspects of the disease and the distinct aspects of chronic rhinosinusitis as well as recurrent chronic rhinosinusitis. The book also elucidates the imaging techniques employed for visualization of nasal sinuses. It provides an extensive overview on the medical manifestations of rhinosinusitis in order to carry out efficient treatment procedures against this condition. 3
