Gebäude in Stahlbetonrahmenbauweise (RC) sind die gängigste Bauart im städtischen Indien, die während ihrer Lebensdauer verschiedenen Arten von Kräften ausgesetzt sind, z. B. statischen Kräften aufgrund von Eigen- und Nutzlasten und dynamischen Kräften aufgrund von Erdbeben. Die vorliegende Studie beschreibt die Auswirkung der Erdbebenlast, die eine der wichtigsten dynamischen Lasten ist, sowie deren Berücksichtigung bei der Analyse der Struktur.
