Along the way, he served on several pharmacy boards, including the ASHP and that of the University of Wisconsin School of Pharmacy. He always found it surprising that graduates were very skilled at clinical pharmacy but not entrepreneurship. His new book Entrepreneurs in Pharmacy and Other Leaders will become a useful text for pharmacy students and faculty alike under the new ACPE mandate that pharmacy programs teach entrepreneurship. Section one of the book profiles ten professionals who launched their own innovative businesses from a pharmacy degree. Section two highlights thirty people who became leaders in health care with their pharmacy degrees. Zorich is donating all of the royalties to pharmacy programs and foundations that encourage and foster entrepreneurship.
