If it appears at the same time as the word 'anarchism', 'fumism' remains a very little known word in '-ism'. 'Émergence du fumisme' is an essay which sets the record straight by giving the word 'fumisme' the French literary and artistic value which it deserves - but which everyone (or almost) ignores. A true synthesis of a philosopher, literary specialist and political scientist, this essay follows a work on the use of irony in two poets and artists who have marked the artistic productions of France since the 1860s. Already known to specialists in human sciences and literatures from Canadian, American and French universities, this essay precedes by a few years a reflection (blog and web radio) on 'the inferiority complex of francophones'.
