This book evaluates the dietary status of the preschool children. the book seek the knowledge of parents and caregivers. However, majority have no knowledge of dietary pattern, which further affirmed that the quality of food given to children is not a proper diet in study area. It was further observed that majority of children skip meals because most could not provide food. Based on the findings the book recommends that; Parents should have adequate knowledge of the type of food consumed by the preschool children as well as the knowledge of a balance diet meal and the nutritional value of food consumed by the children. The book will be of great benefit to the parents/guardians of the preschool children. It will be helpful in providing appropriate measures to improve the quality of dietary intake of the preschool children in their homes, schools and community at large.It will as well help the parents to supervise the dietary intake habit of the children.
