REDD+ mobilisiert das internationale Klimarecht und das internationale Recht der nachhaltigen Waldbewirtschaftung, um das regionale und subregionale afrikanische Umweltrecht zu verändern und das interne und traditionelle Recht auf neue nachhaltige Praktiken zu trainieren. REED+ ist Teil des Konzepts der globalen ökologischen Solidarität, das die Entwaldung für den generationenübergreifenden Fortbestand der natürlichen Ressourcen reduziert.
