The Chinese military could easily crush, indeeddestroy, the island. However, Taiwanese computer chips andrelated technologies employ over a million workers on the mainland.Therefore, a massive attack or invasion is untenable. Consequently,the sole option becomes a hypersonic missile strike air burst overTaipei to force Taiwan to capitulate. But the Diamond Dome holds.It becomes a seminal event for China to realize it can’t capture Taiwan.With additional trade pressure from America, China is forced tonegotiate a century-long non-aggression treaty. As a result, Americaforegoes building is own Golden Dome. And the treaty initiates anew era of global peace and economic prosperity.
