Dermatologische Manifestationen bei chronisch-entzündlichen Darmerkrankungen (CED) sind häufig und polymorph. In vielen Fällen können sie ein Anzeichen für Morbus Crohn oder Colitis ulcerosa sein. Man unterscheidet dermatologische Erkrankungen, die direkt oder indirekt mit IBD in Verbindung gebracht werden. Spezifische Dermatosen werden durch ein gigantisch-zelluläres Granulom ohne Nekrosezellen mit angrenzenden und metastatischen Läsionen definiert. Die häufigsten reaktiven Dermatosen sind Erythema nodosum, orale Aphtose und Pyoderma gangrenosum. IBD kann mit Mangeldermatosen einhergehen, wobei Eisen- und Zinkmangel die häufigsten sind. Dermatologische Beeinträchtigungen im Zusammenhang mit der Anwendung der für IBD indizierten Therapien sind recht häufig. Es wird zunehmend über Hautausschläge unter Anti-TNFα berichtet, wie z. B. Reaktionen an der Injektionsstelle, paradoxe Reaktionen und ekzematöse Reaktionen. Aus diesem Grund ist eine enge Zusammenarbeit zwischen Gastroenterologen und Dermatologen für die Optimierung der Behandlung dieser Patienten von entscheidender Bedeutung.
