In this third series of Dark Dreams, The Quest, Bridgett’s alien powers are unraveling quickly, making her life complicated. The move, from San Diego, away from General Montgomery, to Cape Canaveral, Cocoa Beach, Florida, only adds more fuel to the hybrid’s fire, when she embarks upon a relationship with Jacob, an astrophysicist that works for NASA. Bridgett tries to have a 'normal' relationship and finds that it’s not easy for a part human-part alien that bares the label, 'hybrid,' to accomplish this feat. With Jacob’s career as an astrophysicist working for NASA, she involves him in a life and death situation on a quest to return to her alien origin. To accomplish this, Jacob has to seek out the one human left from her past that Bridgett totally despises to complete this mission. Jacob tries to convince Bridgett to stay, but her alien senses discover that the Stargate needed for this quest is right in her own backyard. Now, the decision becomes whether the relationship with Jacob can override the desire to find her alien origin. Do you believe in Stargates, Portals or Boom Tubes?
